The sculptures at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens range from all different sizes with some stretching up to 25 feet tall. Each sculpture is made up of living plants careful placed to create these amazing displays. A complex irrigation system helps the sculptures to grow and flourish.
This type of plant sculpture is actually called mosaiculture and has been around for while but has become more popular in recent years.
To create these incredible art pieces a steel frame has to be used which is then covered in steel mesh. Soil and moss is then placed on the mesh and once ready seeds are then planted and the results are spectacular.
